The Purpose of a Goal

The real purpose of a goal is what it makes of you as a human being while you pursue it. Who you become as a person is the ultimate reward.

Take a moment now to write a brief paragraph describing all the character traits, skills, abilities, attitudes, and beliefs you need to develop to achieve all of your goals.

Have a great day!!!

Pain Is Your Friend

To get what you want, you must discover what's preventing you from taking action. Think of something you've avoided doing until the last minute. Isn't it true that you put whatever it is off simply to avoid the pain of the moment, only to experience even greater pain later on?

Take paying taxes for example. What happens on April 14? Our procrastination vanishes because we quickly change what we believe (associate in our minds) will bring us pain or pleasure. Suddenly, not taking action is much more painful than just doing it.

In the future, instead of wondering, "How can I avoid doing this painful task?" ask yourself, "If I don't take action now, what will this ultimately cost me?"

Pain can be your friend if you use it effectively.

The Power of Clarity

Have you ever bought a new car, then started seeing it everywhere? Certainly it's always been around you, but you didn't notice until now. That's because a portion of our brain is responsible for screening out information except what's essential to our survival and success. So much that could help us achieve our dreams is never noticed or utilized simply because we haven't defined (taught our brain what's important!) our goals with clarity.
There is a part of our brains that becomes like a magnet, attracting any information or opportunities that can help us achieve our goals more rapidly. Tripping this powerful neurological switch can literally transform our lives in a matter of days or weeks! Have a great day!

The Secret of Goals

We all have goals, whether we know it or not. No matter what they are, they have a profound effect on our lives. Yet some of our goals, such as "I need to pay my lousy bills," lack any inspiration. The secret of unleashing your true power is setting goals that are exciting enough that they truly inspire your creativity and ignite your passion.
Today, conciously choose your goals. Brainstorm everything worth pursuing. Then pick a goal that excites you the most, something that will get you up early and keep you up late. Assign a deadline for achiewving it, and write a paragraph describing why you absolutely must attain it by then. Is it big enough to challenge you? to push you beyond your limits? to uncover your true potential? Have a great day!

Think Long, Think Wrong

Research has consistently shown that people who succeed tend to make decisions rapidly and are slow to reverse a well-thought-out position. Conversely, people who fail usually decide slowly and change their minds frequently. Once you've made a sound decision, stick by it!! Have a great day!

Success and Failure

Success and failure are usually not the results of a single event. Failure is the result of neglecting to make the call...or not going the extra mile...or not saying, "I love you." In the same way that failure follows the string of small decisions, success comes from taking the initiative and following up....persisting....eloquently expressing the depth of your love. Today, decide to take an action that will produce a new momentum toward success in your life! Have a great day!

Learning From Mistakes

We must commit to learning from our mistakes instead of agonizing over them, or we're destined to repeat our errors in the future. When you temporarily run aground, remember that there are no failure in life. There are only results. Consider the adage: Success is the result of good judgment, good judgment is the result of experience, and experience is often the result of bad judgment! Today, use what you have learned from a past mistake that you can use to improve your life today! Have a great day!

The Law

Using the Law doesn’t have to be difficult. There are small steps that anyone can take that will definitely have a positive impact on your life. The following are the beginning steps that I employed on my personal journey toward life-long happiness.

First, began to make a mental picture of what you want in life. For example, I began to picture myself being healthier financially, and being able to draw what I need to enable that picture to manifest. You can never really reach what your really want unless you clearly define a direction for your life, and make the effort consistently.

Next, you must maintain a positive outlook. A positive attitude means there is a good chance that it will attract other positive people, effects, and transformations in your life. Even if events in your life do not seem particularly good, maintaining a positive outlook can be lead to the transformation that you want.

Lastly, develop and use daily affirmations. The more often you say them aloud and confirm your dreams, the likelier it is that they will come true.

Follow this blog daily as we take this journey together! Have a great day!
